At TRC Timberworks Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in woodworking and a keen eye for detail.



Key Responsibilities


  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware


Requirements


  • 3 years of experience in the trade
  • Degree in carpentry or related field
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
