Nelson Woodcrafters Ltd. is a small business in Nelson, BC. We are professional, and our goal is to We produce and install custom millwork such as kitchens, vanities, closets and more. We have a modern shop with almost all common machines including CNC router. We also get to make custom furniture sometimes. Keeping things interesting is high on our list. Have a variety of work keeps us sharp and gives us skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Measure and cut wood to specified sizes and shapes.
- Construct cabinets and furniture from wood, veneers, and laminates.
- Install hardware such as hinges, knobs, and pulls.
- Sand and finish pieces using hand tools and power tools.
- Assemble cabinets and furniture using glue, screws, nails, dowels, and other fasteners.
- Repair existing cabinets and furniture.
- Inspect finished pieces for quality assurance.
- Prepare for spraypainting using sanding skill
- Support instalations on site
- Operating woodworking machines such as: Tablesaw, jointer, planer, shaper, boring machine, edgebander and possably the CNC router

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$30.00 per hour

- Nelson, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Cabinet maker: 5 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
