**Job Summary**

Alberta Health Services is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Lethbridge, Alberta.

As a Community Occupational Therapist, you will provide evidence-based services to individuals, groups, or communities to enable meaningful and chosen occupations, including self-care, productivity, and leisure. Your expertise will focus on occupational performance, designed to meet the needs of clients with cognitive, affective, spiritual, and physical strengths and limitations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide comprehensive services, including triage, screening, consultation, assessment, diagnosis, collaborative goal setting, treatment, prevention, self-management, education, case management, referral, transition support, and collaboration with relevant stakeholders and supports within client environments.
  • Engage individuals, groups, and communities to achieve optimum functional abilities and independence related to their cognitive, affective, spiritual, and physical strengths and limitations.
  • Collaborate with clients and families as integral members of the healthcare team, encouraging their active participation in all aspects of care.

**Requirements:**

  • Completion of a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program.
  • Registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).
  • Experience working as an OT in a community setting.
  • Training in Connect Care and Alberta Aids to Daily Living authorizer.

**Compensation Package:** The estimated salary range for this position is $98,000 - $123,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off, will be offered.
