Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and oversee all activities in the warehouse, including receiving, storing, labeling, and distributing goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock checks/cycle count, reconciling discrepancies, and updating the inventory database system/ERP system.
- E nsure the warehouse is organized and clean, while following proper safety and security measures.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and storage to prevent damage or loss.
- Collaborate with other departments (Production, QC, Planning, etc.) to fulfill orders and meet customer requirements in a timely manner.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures to optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with the Purchasing department to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Monitor and maintain equipment and machinery in the warehouse and arrange for repairs or replacements as needed.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Inventory and Receiving.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience working in a warehouse or similar role.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Email, and other relevant programs.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as Forklifts, Pallet jacks, and Hand trucks. Asset: Valid Forklift License.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and practices in a warehouse setting to ensure a safe and secure working environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to spot discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $48,323.00, based on a 40-hour workweek and an hourly rate of $23.23.
