Job Description:

We are seeking a Construction Safety Professional to prioritize the implementation of best practices ensuring compliance with safety requirements and cultivating a culture of safety enhancement on targeted construction projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Mentor educate and train staff on safety protocols
  • Foster a positive safety culture within the team
  • Attend safety meetings as required at varying frequencies
  • Conduct on-site observations and recommend safety work practices
  • Facilitate pre-task planning audits job safety analyses JSAs and permit processes
  • Conduct site-specific orientations training classes and toolbox talks
  • Generate reports as needed by the job site

Requirements and Experience:

We require a minimum of 10+ years of direct construction safety oversight experience and a minimum of 5 years of safety management and leadership experience. A comprehensive understanding of Construction Safety Standards 1926 is also required.
