Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Wen Miao. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to clients, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring clients receive a balanced diet
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment
  • Assist clients with medication management, as required
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and bending
Work Environment:

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes, community centers, and other locations. You will be required to travel to clients' homes, using your own vehicle or public transportation.
