Job Title: Home Support Worker

Ming Fai James Yam is seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits.
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Assist with medication administration, as required.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate and Personal Support Worker Certificate.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
Work Environment:

Our clients reside in their own homes, and as a Home Support Worker, you will work in a non-smoking environment.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

30 hours per week.
