Job Description:
As a Clinical Healthcare Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the well-being of community members. Your comprehensive health assessments will help diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions, while developing personalized treatment plans that include prescribing medications and therapies.
You will work closely with our client's healthcare team to provide a wide range of medical services, including vaccinations and preventive healthcare services. Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMRs), and a commitment to patient-centered care are essential for this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification
- Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as a Nurse Practitioner
- Successful completion of the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE)
- Active, unrestricted provincial license(s) with prescribing privileges
- CPR certification
