About This RoleWe are currently seeking a highly skilled Service Coordinator, Controls to join our Technology Controls team in Burnaby. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while dispatching, coordinating, and supporting technical teams in the delivery of technical support services for our valued customers.
This role involves working closely with customers to complete initial investigations and assess support requests, determine solutions, and prioritize service requests. You will also be responsible for creating work orders, managing them through to completion, handling billing processes, tracking and expediting material orders, coordinating with technical staff to complete work orders, and preparing lists of recommended follow-up actions for customers.
Your Responsibilities- Provide high-quality customer service and administrative support
- Collaborate with customers to resolve support requests
- Prioritize service requests and schedule dispatches
- Create work orders and manage them through to completion
- Handle billing processes and track material orders
- Coordinate with technical staff to complete work orders
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- At least 4 years of experience in an administrative support or customer service role coordinating service requests and dispatching technicians
- Experience with material ordering, tracking, billing, and reporting
- BASIC knowledge of Building Control Systems
- FLEXIBILITY to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- EXCELLENT computer skills in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), JDE or other CRM systems
- Strong teamwork skills complemented by independence
- SUPERIOR oral and written communication skills
- HIGHLY organized and detail-oriented with strong prioritization skills
