Job Summary
As a key member of our team at Valbella Gourmet Foods, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Delicatessen Supervisor to manage our retail business. This role involves overseeing store operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Hiring and Training:
- Recruit, train, and develop a diverse team of employees
- Implement effective training programs to enhance employee skills
- Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues promptly
- Authorize returns and refunds as needed
- Operations:
- Develop and implement efficient store layouts and inventory management systems
- Monitor and control expenses to achieve business goals
- Supervise and coordinate store activities to ensure smooth daily operations
- Finance:
- Manage cash handling and banking procedures
- Prepare sales reports and analyze data to inform business decisions
Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in retail management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
