Retail Store Manager

Fergie's Bakery & Convenience is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
- Hire, train, and develop a team of sales associates to meet the needs of our customers.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering merchandise and authorizing returns.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that products are displayed attractively.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales associates, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Prepare payroll and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Invoice clients in a timely and professional manner.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Fergie's Bakery & Convenience is a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be working in an urban area, in a retail business setting. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Language:The primary language spoken in the workplace is English.
Hours:The typical work week is 32 to 40 hours per week.
