We are seeking an experienced Advanced Analytics Consultant to join our team in Canada.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, business intelligence, and advanced analytics, with experience in working with large datasets and developing insightful reports.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Description:
  • Liaise between IT and business partners to translate business requirements into product backlog items and technical specifications.
  • Act as a BI Specialist by setting up and optimizing Power BI reports.
  • Take ownership of complex problem-solving assignments, recommend efficient solutions, and be an enabler of their implementation.
  • Be a key contributor to solution design and ensure alignment with business goals and requirements.
  • Take a lead role in the testing lifecycle (regression testing, systems integrated testing, and UAT testing).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with SQL tools for data analysis and data mining.
  • Proficiency with Power BI.
  • Knowledge of messaging in XML: Schemas, Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations (XSLT), and JavaScript Object Notation (JSON).
  • Working knowledge of traditional database/infrastructure: Windows, Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Excellent French and English language communication skills (spoken and written).
  • Good years of experience, business and system analysis experience in financial investment applications and/or BI/analytics solutions.
