Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Radiology Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure high-quality images and efficient workflow.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Provide education and training to staff on imaging procedures and equipment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Medical Radiography program with attained certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
  • Minimum three years recent related work experience, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Supervisory experience an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Fluent language skills in both English and French, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 7.75 hours per day, with occasional standby coverage and on-call shifts. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and ability to multitask.
