About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Home Building Contractor to join our team at Assured Basements. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of residential building projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management
    • Develop and implement project schedules, timelines, and budgets
    • Coordinate with trade subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Inspect work in progress to ensure quality and conformity to plans and specifications
    • Identify and address any quality control issues promptly
  • Marketing and Sales
    • Develop and implement effective marketing and sales strategies to attract new clients and projects
    • Collaborate with our sales team to identify new business opportunities
  • Customer Service and Communication
    • Provide exceptional customer service and communication throughout the project lifecycle
    • Ensure client satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly
  • Administrative and Organizational Tasks
    • Manage and maintain project records, including contracts, invoices, and correspondence
    • Develop and maintain a directory of suppliers and trade contractors
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Language and Work Environment
    • Fluent in English
    • 40 hours per week, permanent position

  • Criminal record check required
