Mechanical Systems Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Systems Technician to join our team at Candroid Robotics Corporation. This role is essential in supporting our engineering efforts and ensuring the efficiency of our mechanical systems.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university program lasting 1 to 2 years.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year and less than 2 years in a related field.
- Assist in the evaluation of mechanical installations and construction initiatives.
- Support the development of designs, drawings, and specifications.
- Contribute to the creation of moulds, tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
- Conduct a variety of mechanical tests and analyses on machines, components, and materials.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software effectively.
- Design and develop tools, moulds, jigs, and fixtures.
- Estimate project costs and required materials.
- Prepare and interpret engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
- Draft contracts and tenders as needed.
- Establish standards and schedules for projects.
- Oversee maintenance programs or the operation of mechanical facilities.
- Supervise, monitor, and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects.
- Perform testing on machines and equipment to ensure functionality.
- Possession of personal transportation is required.
- Fast-paced and dynamic work setting.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage heavy loads.
- Physically demanding tasks requiring attention to detail.
- Capability to distinguish between colors is essential.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking is necessary, with extended periods of standing.
- Strong client focus and dependability.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities, both oral and written.
- A collaborative team player.
