Mechanical Systems Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Orenda Automation Technologies Inc. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mechanical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement in mechanical systems and equipment
- Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment to meet customer requirements
- Supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems and equipment
- Develop and implement maintenance standards, schedules, and programs
- Investigate and resolve mechanical failures and unexpected maintenance problems
- Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost, and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications
- Supervise and review the work of technicians, technologists, and other engineers
- Develop and implement risk management plans
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
