Job Description:

The Front Store Manager is a key role within Neighbourly Pharmacy, responsible for overseeing the entire front store operation. This includes managing customer transactions, staff scheduling and training, merchandising of products, ordering and receiving, and assisting with month-end billing and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and participate in initiatives to achieve the store’s strategic objectives.
  • Ensure superior customer service is always provided.
  • Manage front store staff in all aspects, including training, scheduling, and supervision.
  • Coordinate work schedules for all front store personnel.
  • Ensure proper inventory control, including ordering and receiving.
  • Assist with budgeting, buying, and pricing objectives to maximize gross margins.
  • Develop and implement promotional objectives, including setting up sales and merchandise displays.
  • Ensure all aspects of merchandising standards are always in place.
  • Operate the front store within the guidelines and objectives of Neighbourly Pharmacy.
  • Participate in setting financial operating budgets and policy objectives with Neighbourly Pharmacy.

Qualifications:

  • Experience managing a retail store.
  • Knowledge of managing and training teams.
  • Strong people management and leadership abilities.
  • Professional attitude and ability to communicate well with customers, co-workers, and suppliers.
