MANN TRANSPORT LIMITED is seeking a reliable and skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country in a safe and efficient manner.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Overseeing the condition of the vehicle and inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Performing pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and overseeing all aspects of the vehicle
  • Loading and unloading goods
  • Addressing customers' complaints or concerns
  • Calculating the cost of truck repairs and new parts if needed


In this role, you will be required to have a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A) and Air Brakes Endorsement. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.



Requirements:


  • Valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks)
  • Valid passport
  • Criminal record check
  • Driver's validity licence check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Drug test
  • Medical exam
