Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

F & S Logistics Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Route Planning: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment and GPS to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle, performing pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, as well as performing brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs.
  • Cargo Handling: Load and unload goods, ensuring safe and secure transportation.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license, Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Personal Qualities: Judgement, Organized, Reliability, Team player, Hardworking, Patience.
Working Conditions:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be required to work a variable schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You will be away from home for extended periods, and will be required to maintain a high level of physical fitness.
