We are seeking a reliable and skilled Taxi Driver to join our team at Daughter's Trucking Ltd.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to our clients. This includes driving a taxi, handling passenger transactions, and maintaining a clean and well-maintained vehicle.
Responsibilities- Drive a taxi to pick up and drop off passengers
- Handle passenger transactions, including collecting fares and providing change
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, including regular cleaning and minor repairs
- Assist passengers with luggage and in boarding vehicles
- Provide basic tourist information to passengers
- Record transactions and maintain accurate records
- Attend to complaints or difficult passengers
- Drive employers to and from destinations
- Provincial or Territorial Commercial Vehicle licence (Class 4 or E)
- Hand-eye co-ordination
- Sitting
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 40 hours per week
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with passengers and colleagues on a daily basis. The work will involve sitting for extended periods, as well as occasional standing and walking.
