We are seeking a reliable and skilled Taxi Driver to join our team at Daughter's Trucking Ltd.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to our clients. This includes driving a taxi, handling passenger transactions, and maintaining a clean and well-maintained vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive a taxi and transport passengers to their destinations
- Handle passenger transactions, including collecting fares and providing change
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, including regular cleaning and minor repairs
- Assist passengers with luggage and boarding the vehicle
- Provide basic tourist information to passengers
- Record transactions and maintain accurate records
- Attend to complaints or difficult passengers
- Drive employers to and from destinations
- Provincial or Territorial Commercial Vehicle licence (Class 4 or E)
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Permanent employment
- 40 hours per week
- English language proficiency
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with passengers and colleagues on a daily basis. The work will involve sitting for extended periods and requires good hand-eye coordination.
