Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Alberta Ltd. in a permanent position.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, managing a team of 3-4 staff members, and ensuring excellent customer service standards are met.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about leadership and retail management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties effectively, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and returns of merchandise, maintaining accurate records and adhering to company policies.
  • Establish work schedules that meet business needs while considering staff availability and well-being.
  • Sell merchandise and promote products to customers, driving sales growth and revenue.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing valuable insights for business improvement.
  • Resolve issues promptly, including customer complaints, supply shortages, and other challenges that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, organizing and stocking shelves as needed.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of workers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • At least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail setting is necessary.

  • Fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and pressure to perform.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Estimate Salary Range:

$40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
