Leadership Opportunity in Canadian Retail

A dynamic retail store manager is required to lead our client's discount retail operation in Canada.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail merchandising, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the industry, including at least 3 years in a management position. The role involves managing a team, ensuring efficient inventory replenishment and maintaining a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective retail strategies to drive sales growth;
  • Lead a team of retail staff to achieve business objectives;
  • Manage stock levels and maintain an organized store environment;
  • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate best prices and optimize inventory;
  • Analyze sales data to inform purchasing decisions and optimize product assortment.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field;
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a similar role;
  3. Excellent leadership and communication skills; ability to motivate and develop team members;
  4. Familiarity with retail software and systems, including point-of-sale and inventory management tools;
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability.
