Key Responsibilities- Building a Culture of Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by being friendly, helpful, and efficient in every interaction.
- Internal and External Store Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of sales floors, cash register bays, break rooms, bathrooms, trash areas, and store fronts.
- Workstation Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the workstation for safety and efficiency.
- Meeting Targets: Regularly complete duties and additional projects as assigned by management, meeting with management to review results and opportunities.
- Loss Prevention: Follow loss prevention procedures, including reporting internal or external theft to management.
- Safety: Follow standards in place to protect employees, customers, and donors, providing a safe environment to work and shop in.
- Ability to Read and Write: Possess basic reading and writing skills.
- Customer Service Skills: Demonstrate courtesy and good communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Concentrate and pay close attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Cleaning Equipment: Understand the use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances.
- Knowledge of Hazardous Materials: Know the safe use and disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components.
- Continuous Exposure to Dust: Work in an environment with continuous exposure to dust.
- Temperature Fluctuations: Be flexible with temperature fluctuations.
- Flexible Scheduling: Be flexible with scheduling changes due to store needs and sales events.
- Overtime: May require overtime from time to time due to store needs.
