Welder Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our team at Tolko Industries. As a Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for the layout, fitting, and fabrication of metal components to assemble structural forms such as machinery frames, platforms, handrails, machine guarding, and piping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete the lay-out, fitting, and fabrication of metal components to assemble structural forms.
  • Repair metal components and infrastructure using gas, arc-air, MIG, TIG, and electrode as required.
  • Read blueprints and interpret OEM maintenance information to complete work to mill standards.

Requirements:

  • Valid Interprovincial ticket and experience as an A-level Welder.
  • Commitment to working safely and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and fabricator endorsement, millwright experience, and previous experience in a forest products environment is considered an asset.
