We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Mineral Processing Engineer to join our team at TRS Staffing Solutions.

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will lead multi-disciplined teams on engineering projects across North America, European Union, Asia, and South America.

Job Overview:

As a Lead Mineral Processing Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating Engineering Discipline Leads and Project Document and Data Management (PDDM) Lead for cost-effective project solutions. You will also direct and manage interface between Engineering and other project disciplines.

You will translate global strategic initiatives into project procedures, apply Cost Competitive Execution techniques for efficient project solutions, and ensure timely completion of engineering work meeting quality standards and budgets.

Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate with Engineering Discipline Leads and PDDM Lead to achieve project objectives.
  2. Direct and manage interface between Engineering and other project disciplines.
  3. Develop and implement project procedures aligned with global strategic initiatives.
  4. Apply Cost Competitive Execution techniques to optimize project costs.
  5. Ensure timely completion of engineering work while maintaining quality standards and budget adherence.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require an accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in engineering with sixteen years of work-related experience.

You must have professional certification or registration in your applicable field, if required, and demonstrated experience in designing mineral processing facilities.

A strong communication and people skillset is essential, as well as client and results-oriented attitude with problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

A professional registration, advanced knowledge of discipline codes and standards, material costs, and availability are preferred qualifications.

Comprehensive understanding of engineering stages from conceptual phase to commissioning, effort-hour estimating, staff forecasting, project set-up, progress reporting, and close-out experience are also advantageous.

Practical field experience and intermediate computer and software skills are desirable.

We estimate a salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum for this position, depending on location and experience.
