About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our team as an Executive Director - Health, Education, and Community Services at Kidsfirst Childcare Centre. This is a permanent position with a 35-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to achieve our mission and goals.
  • Authorize and establish major departments and senior staff positions to drive business growth and success.
  • Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs to drive business outcomes.
  • Represent the organization in negotiations, official functions, and other external engagements.
  • Select and develop middle managers, directors, or other executive staff to drive business success.
  • Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning.
Leadership and Supervision
  • Supervise a team of 3-4 people and provide guidance and support to ensure their success.
Computer and Technology Skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and MS PowerPoint.
Travel and Work Conditions
  • Willing to travel as required.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Personal Suitability
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
