Camp Support Specialist

We are seeking a Camp Support Specialist to join our team at CNIB Lake Joe. This is a full-time position with opportunities for professional growth and development.
The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office and Office 365, and have experience working in an office setting. Additionally, they will be comfortable using point of sale systems and database software.
Key Responsibilities- Oversight and assistance with the operation of the Tuck Shop, including inventory management, restocking, and processing transactions.
- Assistance with the operation of the online camp store, monitoring online orders, and processing orders for delivery.
- Counting the Tuck Shop float nightly and tracking sales for various payment types.
- Serving as the first point of contact for guests at Reception and the Tuck Shop.
- Inspecting guestrooms prior to arrivals and ensuring room standards are met.
- Preparing guest information in accessible formats, such as digital or large print.
- Maintaining the general email inbox and responding to emails as needed.
- Enrolled in a recognized Business Certificate Program or equivalent job-related experience.
- A current Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check.
- A current Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification.
- Strong planning, organization, and time management skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to multitask.
The estimated salary for this role is $17.20 per hour. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as access to training and development opportunities.
