Transformative Role in Sustainability Transparency

The IFRS Foundation is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our dynamic ISSB Technical Staff team as a Sustainability Expert. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the development of globally accepted financial reporting standards that drive sustainability transparency and accountability.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual with expertise in sustainability and financial reporting to conduct evidence-based research, engage with stakeholders, and analyze technical proposals. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the sustainability and financial reporting landscape, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research on sustainability issues, including climate, nature, human capital, and human rights
  • Engage with industry, investment, regulatory, and standard-setting communities to gather insights and feedback
  • Analyze and recommend technical proposals for decision-making by the ISSB
  • Develop and draft technical papers for review and feedback
  • Lead discussions with ISSB members, advisory committees, and working groups
  • Collaborate with IASB Technical Staff for harmonized standards development
  • Manage projects and coordinate activities for successful delivery
  • Support the development of team members
