About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Specialist to join our team at Elephant Play. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for creating 3D designs and 2D drawings for our customers and production staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed designs and drawings for production and customer use.
  • Prepare and manage all necessary documents for subcontracting and purchasing, including Bills of Materials (BOMs) and CNC cutting files.
  • Provide technical support to production staff and resolve any design-related issues.
  • Document and validate production and technical specifications.
  • Update designs and documentation as needed to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Strong creativity and problem-solving skills in technical design.
  • Proficiency in Solidworks and experience with Rhino and Autocad.
  • Knowledge of welded assemblies and CNC cutting processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Functional English language skills.
