About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Operations Manager to join our team at Maxima Bakery. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery, from mixing and baking to quality control and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mix and Bake: Oversee the preparation and baking of mixed dough and batters, ensuring consistency and quality in every batch.
  • Production Scheduling: Develop and implement efficient production schedules to meet customer demand and minimize waste.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of kitchen and food service areas to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Machinery Operation: Safely operate and maintain bakery equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to production team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related industry.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
