Research Analyst

Indigenous Lands & Resources Today is seeking a highly skilled Research Analyst - Data Governance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research and analysis to support the development of data governance policies and procedures for Indigenous communities.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to identify best practices in data governance for Indigenous communities, including data management, data sharing, and data protection.
- Develop Data Governance Policies: Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures that align with the needs of Indigenous communities.
- Build Relationships: Build relationships with Indigenous communities, organizations, and stakeholders to understand their data governance needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
- Provide Reports and Presentations: Provide regular reports and presentations to stakeholders on data governance progress and recommendations.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Collaborate with team members to develop and implement data governance strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Education: Master's degree in a related field, such as data governance, information management, or Indigenous studies.
- Experience: 5-10 years of experience in data governance, research, and analysis, with a focus on Indigenous communities.
- Skills: Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of data governance principles, data management, and data protection, as well as Indigenous cultures, traditions, and values.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with Indigenous communities and stakeholders.
