About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business intelligence applications for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior technical staff to create high-quality work products.
  • Translate client business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Provide solutions to technical problems assigned by the project lead.
  • Participate in application design and architecture.
  • Install and configure technology and solutions.
  • Develop core application components with a focus on business intelligence and ETL.
  • Complete all levels of application testing and quality assurance.
  • Prepare required documentation, including specifications, design, system, and training materials.
  • Install and configure our client's software as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry business and technology solutions through continuous learning.
  • Provide presentations to clients and internally as required.
  • Develop prototypes as needed.
  • Design modules as assigned by the technical lead.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of common hardware environments and operating systems.
  • Basic programming skills, including knowledge of UNIX and Windows environments.
  • Experience with relational database technology, such as DB2 or Oracle.
  • Working knowledge of GUI technologies based on Java and .Net.
  • Exposure to testing and validation techniques in software engineering.
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a Master's degree in Statistics.
  • At least 2 years of experience with business intelligence tools and technologies.
Skill Sets
  • Data Integration (DI): Working knowledge of data management tools, industry standard third-party tools, and OS services.
  • Business Intelligence (BI): Working knowledge of data integration and reporting tools, industry standard third-party tools, and OS services.
