Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Business Intelligence and Analytics

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our Business Intelligence and Analytics projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, business intelligence, and analytics, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Define and document project objectives, determine budgetary requirements, and establish project team roles and responsibilities.
  2. Meet with stakeholders and project team members to define problems and provide solutions.
  3. Formulate statements of problems, establish procedures for developing and implementing project elements, and obtain approval to proceed.
  4. Prepare plans, charts, tables, and diagrams to assist in analyzing or displaying problems, working with a variety of project management tools.
  5. Obtain project sign-off from all stakeholders, ensuring that the project was completed on time, within budget, and with no loose ends.
  6. Manage multiple projects during the development, implementation, and operations phases, ensuring that resources are made available and that the project is developed and fully operational within previously agreed time, cost, and performance parameters.
  7. Produce written reports on project progress on an ongoing basis and at scheduled points in the project lifecycle.
  8. Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery.
  9. Work closely with SMEs and client technical teams to provide strategic insights to deliver the solution to the client.
  10. Motivate and guide highly technical engineers and developers, removing roadblocks to ensure they can deliver.
  11. Coach team members in Agile frameworks.
  12. Develop and track metrics to monitor project performance.
  13. Manage all phases of a business intelligence, data warehouse, or analytics software development project, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and post-release support.

Qualifications:

  1. Must propose a resource that meets the SENIOR level with a minimum of 10 years of cumulative experience.
  2. Must demonstrate that the proposed Senior Project Manager resource holds certification, specifically Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
  3. Must demonstrate using detailed project descriptions that the proposed SENIOR level Project Manager resource has Five (5) years of experience within the last Ten (10) years in an IM/IT environment as of bid closing performing the following tasks in either business intelligence, data warehouse, or analytics project:
  • Developing and tracking metrics to monitor project performance.
  • Promoting and documenting project management best practices.
  • Documenting and championing process improvement initiatives.
Must demonstrate using detailed project descriptions that the proposed SENIOR level Project Manager resource has Five (5) years of experience within the last Ten (10) years in an IM/IT environment as of bid closing performing the following tasks in either business intelligence, data warehouse, or analytics project:
  • Producing Agile project documentation, including scope documents, resource/cost projections, schedules, and performance metrics.
Must demonstrate using detailed project descriptions that the proposed SENIOR level Project Manager resource has minimum of Three (3) projects within the last Ten (10) years in an IM/IT environment as of bid closing performing the following tasks in either business intelligence, data warehouse, or analytics project:
  • Managing all phases of a business intelligence, data warehouse, or analytics software development project, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and post-release support.
