What We're Looking For

We're seeking a Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Markham Stouffville Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nutrition care to our patients.


Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • Current membership in the College of Dietitians of Ontario, in good standing
  • Membership with Dietitians of Canada is an asset
  • CNSC designation is also an asset
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in nutrition care support of adult patient populations in an acute care setting
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
  • Excellent assessment, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication
  • Demonstrated competency with EMR charting systems, CBORD, and associated computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an interprofessional team
  • Access to own transportation to travel between sites
  • Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards
  • Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital policies, health and safety legislation, and best practices.

Work Schedule

The successful candidate will need to be available to work 08:30-16:30 every Friday with rotating Sundays.


Schedules are subject to change based on operational needs.


Required to work between both Markham and Reactivation Care Centre (RCC) sites.


Compensation

Salary Grid: OPCOM07


$40.40 - $51.45 per hour
