Join J & A Carpet and Flooring as a skilled Flooring Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of floor coverings. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring our clients receive high-quality services.

Responsibilities:

* Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
* Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
* Install carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors
* Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations
* Prepare floors for installations
* Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
* Employ knee kickers and other equipment to stretch carpeting

Requirements:

* No degree, certificate, or diploma required
* Willingness to train
* English language proficiency
* Ability to work 30 hours per week
