About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping our data solutions, including structure, validation, documentation, storage, and retrieval.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement unified data models that support the current needs of our games and are extendable to future needs.
  • Partner with product owners, designers, data scientists, and other engineers to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
  • Develop validation solutions to ensure consistent data throughout the system.
  • Work closely with engineering and publishing teams to understand workflows and provide engineering support and feedback.
  • Participate in risk assessments and mitigation.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of delivering quality commercial data solutions with a focus on data design.
  • Experience with modern programming languages, Git, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Experience managing and utilizing structured and unstructured databases.
  • Familiarity with cloud storage/distribution models.
  • Interest in gaming or digital platforms and digital distribution strategies.
  • Passion for self-improvement and mentoring.
