We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Specialist to join our team at Algonquin College in the Risk Management department.

Your expertise in contract law and contracting practices will enable you to provide valuable insights and recommendations to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our contracting framework.
The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of contract law, including legislative requirements and regulatory compliance. They will also have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting and reviewing contracts to ensure alignment with college policies and procedures
- Negotiating favorable contract terms for the college
- Providing oversight on existing contracts to ensure correct interpretation and administration
- Assisting in the development of standard contract templates and contracting practices
A competitive salary of $34,441 per year is offered for this position, which is paid on an hourly basis at Payband F.
This is a part-time contract position working 20 hours per week within the timeframe of Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
