Job Title: Digital Print Machine Operator

Lorpon Labels Inc. is seeking a skilled Digital Print Machine Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating our HP Indigo Digital Press, ensuring high-quality production and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the HP Indigo Digital Press to produce high-quality labels and packaging materials
  • Maintain the press and surrounding area to ensure a clean and organized work environment
  • Collaborate with the prepress graphics team and production management to ensure smooth production workflows
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting tasks to minimize downtime
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet our high standards
Requirements:
  • HP Level 1 course completion with a passing grade for 6x00 series presses or 20k series presses
  • Experience operating digital printing presses, preferably HP Indigo
  • Strong understanding of graphical prepress and prepress workflows
  • Excellent colour theory and practice skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow directions clearly and work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional courses in Print Production or Operations and other similar functional areas
  • Experience in print production and/or related fields
  • Ability to conduct tests and inspections to evaluate quality and performance
