Job Title: Printing Press Operations Supervisor

DK Sign and Print Inc is seeking a skilled Printing Press Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our printing press department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our printing equipment, supervising a team of printing press operators, and maintaining high-quality standards in our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of printing press operators to ensure efficient production and high-quality output.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of printing equipment to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve production issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to printing press operators to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, and requisition materials and supplies as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a printing press operations or supervisory role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg and work in a physically demanding environment.
