Our team at Seasons Retirement Communities is dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Memory Care Attendant.

This role plays a vital part in ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents, particularly those with dementia or cognitive impairment. As a Memory Care Attendant, you will be responsible for providing person-centered care services, including medication administration, ensuring professionalism, dignity, and compassion in every interaction.

You will be part of a collaborative care team that follows infection control measures to enhance the safety and well-being of residents and staff. Your duties will also include assisting with activity programs, housekeeping tasks, laundry, and responding to resident medical, physical, or emotional needs in collaboration with the Memory Care Manager or Health and Wellness Manager.

We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic about making a positive difference in the lives of others. If you possess empathy and compassion for the needs of the elderly, particularly those with Alzheimer's and Dementia, we encourage you to apply. A strong ability to communicate effectively, organize and prioritize workload, exercise tact, and diplomacy in dealing with residents, team members, and guests is essential for this role.

A degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience is preferred. Current certifications in First Aid, CPR, and Safe Food Handling are mandatory. The ability to learn and operate medical equipment, such as blood pressure machines, oximeters, and glucometers, is considered an asset.

As a condition of employment, a Criminal Record Search, which may include a vulnerable sector screen, will be required. All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
