At Memory & Company, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional care and support to our patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities- Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities to promote physical and mental well-being.
- Perform various tasks related to patient care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Supply and empty bed pans, and maintain patients' rooms to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Prepare and serve meal trays, and assist patients with feeding.
- Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients with care and attention to their needs.
- Supervise patients' exercise routines to promote physical activity and mobility.
In addition to your caregiving responsibilities, you will also be required to:
Requirements- Have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Have at least 1 year of experience in a patient care setting.
- Be able to work 35 hours per week, with a permanent employment contract.
- Be fluent in English, with a strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
