Patient Care Assistant Job Description

At Memory & Company, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Care Assistant to join our team. As a Patient Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly and disabled patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities to promote physical and mental well-being.
  • Perform various tasks related to patient care and comfort, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Supply and empty bed pans, and maintain patients' rooms to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Prepare and serve meal trays, and assist patients with feeding.
  • Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients with care and attention to their needs.
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines to promote physical activity and mobility.
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs and provide timely assistance.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in patient care or a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
