We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Building Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Perfect Janitorial Services. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our apartment/condominium complex.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs; operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt; empty trash cans and other waste containers; wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
- Repairs and Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems; contact tradespersons for major repairs; perform routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
- Groundskeeping: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens; clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
- Security and Safety: Work with minimal supervision; clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas; pass a criminal record check.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Schedule: 30 hours per week.
