Regional Sales Manager

Solid Solutions Canada Inc is a leading recruiting agency providing confidential employment searches to the plumbing and heating industries across Canada and the US. We specialize in the supply side of the industry, working with manufacturers, wholesalers, and sales agencies.

This is a remote position for a Regional Sales Manager - Eastern Ontario, reporting to the Director of Sales, Eastern Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for traveling extensively to acquire new business and develop existing customers.

The Regional Sales Manager will lead product training to the customer base in their territory, relying on their broad experiences to accomplish sales goals and demonstrate the ability to convert prospects to achieve sales targets. This role requires collaboration with other team members to deliver exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and supporting relationships with key customers, business partners, and industry associations to provide winning value and optimize go-to-market strategies and priorities
  • Implementing an effective account management strategy to exceed growth expectations, improve customer service, and strengthen the brand
  • Developing new customers and current customers
  • Validating driver's license and experience with CRM, specifically Salesforce
  • Submitting activity and results reports, such as biweekly sales and strategy meetings, monthly sales meetings, and annual territory analyses and forecasting
  • Performing product orientations, training, and promotions throughout the territory
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge through continuing education
  • Achieving sales targets as established by the organization
  • Being technically proficient and mechanically inclined
