We are seeking a skilled Sea Logistics Sales Representative to join our team in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing business and sales with a focus on sea logistics products, including FCL, LCL, special equipment, consolidations, trans-loading, and drayage services.
- Maximize sales growth through the development of new lane segments, product marketing, and customer support strategies;
- Cultivate existing customer relationships for cross-selling opportunities;
- Generate and close new business opportunities and develop a strategy for account qualifications;
- Meet or exceed company sales goals and targets;
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of field sales experience and possess a solid understanding of sea logistics services.
Requirements- A minimum of 5 years of field sales experience;
- Solid PC operational knowledge and Microsoft Office applications experience;
- Knowledge of sea logistics services, including FCL, LCL, special equipment, consolidations, trans-loading, and drayage services;
- A High School Diploma;
- Preferred: an undergraduate degree or college certificate;
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
