Program Manager, Commercial OPL & Speciality Solutions

We're looking for a seasoned Program Manager to join our team at Intact Financial Corporation. As a key member of our Commercial Operations team, you'll be responsible for leading large, high-complexity programs with multiple stakeholder groups and geographically dispersed teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the integrated program roadmap view, pulling in data from in-flight project plans and future planned initiatives.
  • Be the primary resource to consolidate project data to accurately report on program health status to multiple levels within the organization, including key stakeholders, the Executive sponsor, and Executive Steering Committees.
  • Be accountable to oversee and ensure program deliverables are completed on time, on budget and meet quality standards.
  • Ensure adherence to program governance and processes to support standardization and accuracy of project data and reporting.
  • Identify risks, evaluate alternatives, and encourage input from others to effectively make decisions and plan mitigation tactics.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to the Project Managers on the program; Introduce efficiencies and support adoption of on-going Agile transformation processes.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years experience managing large, high-complexity programs with multiple stakeholder groups and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Proven experience and skilled at presenting in front of C-level and Senior VPs through written and verbal channels.
  • Experience with waterfall, agile and other program management methodologies.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills to develop and maintain high functioning project teams.
  • PMP is an asset.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
  • Experience in the Insurance industry is an asset.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
