About the Role

BMO is seeking an experienced UAT Specialist to join our team in a regulatory compliance officer capacity. This role will be responsible for developing and applying business knowledge of regulatory and financial reporting and disclosures to drive and inform the UAT test plan and strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of end-to-end processes, including process and project management principles;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams across Dev, QA, LOB Finance, Enterprise Risk, and Controllers to manage, plan, incorporate, validate, and execute user acceptance testing;
  • Analyzing data and information to provide insights and recommendations on test results, findings, identified issues, re-performance testing, and continuous improvement;
  • Executing testing, monitoring, and operational activities of varying complexity based on assigned portfolio ensuring adherence to established service levels and standards;
  • Influencing and negotiating to achieve business objectives;
  • Supporting the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders;
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • A general understanding of the business unit's risk and regulatory requirements;
  • Good understanding of control frameworks and audit methodologies;
  • Advanced knowledge of process and/or project management;
  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience;
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $68,000.00 - $126,000.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
