Weir Marine Engineering is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our IT Service Desk team in Montreal, QC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of IT professionals in providing exceptional service to our customers.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of IT professionals in providing exceptional service to our customers.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the IT Service Desk, including troubleshooting, resolving technical issues, and escalating complex problems to senior technical staff.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the IT Service Desk.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration and communication.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in IT service management.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in IT service management, with a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong technical skills in IT service management, including ITIL, ITSM, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Canadian citizenship and 10+ years of residency in Canada.
