Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Watch Me Grow Child Care Centre LTD. as a Child Development Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs of children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment that fosters growth and development.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Lead activities, tell stories, teach songs, and take children on outings to local points of interest, promoting socialization and learning.
  • Health and Hygiene: Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers, ensuring a cohesive and supportive team environment.
  • Environment and Safety: Plan and maintain a safe and secure environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Qualifications: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check and immunization records
  • Transportation and Travel: Public transportation available
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling
